Genpact has made steady progress toward its goal of becoming gender balanced. In 2023, women represented 42% of its global workforce and 50% of its board. Its commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment for women includes ongoing programs designed to attract, develop, and train them at every stage of their careers.

This includes a Women’s Leadership Program to build a pipeline of future women leaders; a Women in Genpact network to serve as an employee resource group; a Pay-it-Forward initiative to encourage leaders to sponsor women protégés; a Returning Moms program to offer women returning to work after their maternity level with a location and shift timing of their preference; and subsidized day-care facilities; among other initiatives.

To build a supportive workplace, the organization engages employees in learning modules on inclusive hiring, managing non-conscious bias, and fostering an inclusive culture at work.
