Role Summary/Purpose:
As an Assistant Vice President, Account Management Infrastructure team, you will have the opportunity to work on major business initiatives that contribute to SYF’s growth and productivity objectives. In his role, you will have the responsibility of managing multiple account management strategy implementation assignments supporting the Account Management function & will work directly with the business, IT and strategy teams in catering to the end-to-end implementation needs.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
- Manage account management strategy implementation and validation, code changes to account management implementation platform(s).
- Needs to manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously for successful implementation of all tasks undertaken.
- Able to provide implementation solutions/codes for tools in-use (Power Curve)
- Lead and provide road map for the team of ~ 6 – 8 members. Able to establish priorities and coordinate work.
- Proactively manage efforts to maintain stakeholder satisfaction and quantify project benefits delivered. Collaborate with multiple US managers and stakeholders for accurate work delivery.
- Should have effective/precise communication to be able to lead project calls. Also be able to present to senior management time to time.
- Able to Influence Senior Management/Team on new tools/solutions/ideas.
- Able to Develop and support Best-in-class analytic solutions. Provide thought leadership in various initiatives/projects and share best practices.
- Focus on Process Efficiency/Process Control and Automation.
- Support operational credit team in response to internal and external audit requests.
- Understand governance requirement for the process.
- Able to self-initiate process/project, programs and drive Change Leadership
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelors' / Master’s degree in science
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in consumer/commercial credit or risk management, lending, marketing or appropriate field in a credit card / consumer lending environment
- Minimum2+ years’ experience of directly managing team to accomplish a set of goals.
- Minimum 1+ years of hands-on experience le in the agile team
(Developer/ScrumMaster/Product Owner) for at least 1 year
- Strong Technical abilities and mandatory hands-on experience in strategy implementation platforms as - Powercurve, Strategy Design Studio, Strategy Manager, TRIAD.
- Strong SAS, SQL, Python & Unix, Mainframe, VBA, Excel
- Strong understanding of Big Data and associated technologies.
- Very Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with a wide range of end users, demonstrated various leadership skills, precise communication and ability to interpret requirements.
- Demonstrated project management experience with extreme attention to detail, report accuracy, data integrity, and team focus. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage project details while balancing multiple priorities
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in leading strategy changes in acquisitions, account management or collections platform
- Experience with consumer and commercial lending products and practices
- Ability to engage and work effectively with clients / partners to gain alignment and achieve key deliverables
- Cross-functional experience with a track record of leading in a matrix environment and influencing key decision makers
- Technically savvy with experience working on technology-related projects.
