We're looking for a seasoned enterprise network tools specialist to be a part of our Global Network Operations centre (GNOC). The role will be based out of Bengaluru, India. Selected candidates will be part of a team supporting the Network infra for the World’s largest beer company.
Education:
• Batchelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or associated stream.
Mandatory Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
Or 8 – 10 years IT experience as Subject Matter Expert in the field of Enterprise Network tools administration
• Extensive experience on Network Management platforms like Solar Winds, CA Spectrum, NAGIOS, Thousand Eyes etc.
• Experience in scripting languages like Python, PERL & ANSIBLE. Experience with SQL administration will be added advantage.
• Experience in working on automation and AIOPS engines like ZENOSS.
• Experience in setting up end to end workflows for Network Automation as part of Integrated Network Management tool suite.
• Understanding of networking concepts and products across OEMs like Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Arista etc.
• Understanding of Cloud (AZURE and /or AWS) fundamentals.
• Strong written and verbal English skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, VISIO).
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Open to travel as per business needs.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Own the enterprise network tools platform and act as single point of contact with end-to-end responsibility for the platform
• Ensure Technical controls and platform hygiene are well maintained throughout the year.
• Measure the technical controls – configuration management, develop standards, ensure standards are maintained.
• Act as point of escalation for technical issues.
• Look for opportunities to automate repeated tasks, generate efficiency.
• Conduct fortnightly platform review with GNOC Service Leaders.
• Coordinate with various tools vendors to address issues needing vendor support.
• Maintain tools baseline, develop standards, ensure compliance with standards for the tools platform.
• Ensure platform SOP, and other documents are periodically reviewed and kept up to date.
• Strive to achieve and maintain high customer survey feedback for respected tower.
• Evaluate next gen network tools and support in business case creation
• Work closely with Service delivery teams to provide platform related inputs and statistics to be included in periodic reviews.
