Job description:

Strong 10+ years hands-on & solutioning experience with the Network technologies such as SD-WAN , SD-LAN , Cloud W-Fi & Cloud Networking from both design and managed services aspects. The Candidate is expected to work on the RFP / Proactive opportunities involving understanding the customer requirements and provide solution. The candidate is expected to have good understanding of the Technology trends and the leading OEM solutions available in the market. Expected to have pre-sales / solutioning experience with global opportunities owning the technical solution and proposal building.

Pre-sales / Solutioning responsibilities:
o Excellent knowledge and experience with Network technologies and solutions
o Work on RFP/ RFI / Proactive opportunities
o Understand customer / business requirements and provide network solutions
o Prepare design documents including BOM
o Provide effort estimates
o Work with the Technology / carrier partners for cost estimates
o Build proposal with technical solution write-up
o Technology features / Cost comparison across the leading technology platforms
o Participate customer meetings and provide any technical clarifications
o Prepare solution slides for customer presentation
o Ability to articulate well – understand customer needs and highlight the solution tenets and differentiators
o Ability to understand customer specific business challenges and recommend solutions accordingly.


Key Skills Required: Network Routing & Switching, Security, SD-WAN, SD Access, SDN, Datacenter Network.
Technology:
o Strong hands-on experience on Cisco Routers, Switches, Wireless network and SDWAN solutions.
o Strong knowledge on routing protocols, EIGRP, BGP and OSPF.
o Ability to build the BOM, Sizing and technical solutioning.
o Must be able to build the HLD, LLD and design documents.
o Be able to do deliver the assessment and consulting projects to identify gaps, recommend solutions and provide roadmaps to customers network infrastructure.
o Be able to provide transformation solutions in areas of SD-WAN, Cloud Wi-Fi, SDN and traditional network space.
o Be able to provide transition support during initial technology transformation and smooth handover to the Project team.
o Provide pre-sales support for various Network opportunities.
o Strong practical knowledge of network concepts including DNS, DHCP, VPN, network protocols, port configuration, link aggregation, spanning tree optimization, and performance tuning.
o Basic knowledge in Linux/Unix command line.

SDN:
o Know-how and good understanding on
§ Cisco Viptela, Velocloud, Versa, Fortinet and Meraki technology. Hands on experience to deploy one or two SDWAN technologies like Cisco Viptela SDWAN, Velocloud or Versa etc.
§ Cisco ACI in DC network, DNAC and Cisco SD Access solution for Wired and Wireless LAN. VMware NSX is an added advantage.
§ Understanding of Cumulus network.
§ Cisco Catalyst & Nexus Switches
§ Cisco Wireless access points controlled by embedded WLC on cisco Catalyst switches
o Good understanding and knowledge of Network and Security SD WAN Technology.
o Knowledge on various NW management tools (Traverse, Solarwinds) used in the enterprise networks.

Network Security:
o Hands on experience in Cisco ASA. Knowledge on Checkpoint and SRX is added advantage.
o Knowledge on SASE and ZTNA solutions in the market.
o Knowledge on Remote access solutions like Cisco AnyConnect VPN, Pulse secure etc.
o Strong knowledge on NAT/PAT, IPSec, AAA concepts.
o Configure & Verify Firewalls, hardware and software operation using command line.
o Experience in managing VPN and UTM devices
Good knowledge of SNMP, NetFlow, syslog and monitoring device parameters,
Proven commitment to quality results.
