Job description:

• Translates logical design into physical program specifications
• Develops and integrates IT solutions (e.g. application module code, purchased package customization) by using appropriate development methodologies and standards, applying standard architectures/patterns, taking into account critical performance characteristics, security measures and customer requirements
• Collaborates with Architects and Senior Developers to establish the physical application framework (e.g. libraries, reuse modules, development environments)
• Develops and executes unit test plans to validate that application modules meet technical specifications
• Participates in technical inspections at appropriate stages of development
• Performs data migration/conversion activities
• Helps coordinate test activities with the project team and participates in integration and certification testing
• Translates requirements and functional specifications into test cases, ensuring that test cases cover all testable business requirements and application layers (e.g. presentation, application and backend)
• Identifies and documents testing issues, and helps facilitate defect remediation
• Performs testing tool administration tasks, including framework, setup and security

 

Skills:

• 5+ yrs. overall IT experience including:
• 3+ yrs. of JAVA EE/Spring development experience
• 3+ yrs. of experience in Java, Functional Languages
• 3+ yrs. of experience in (SQL / ORACLE / DB2 / SQL server)
• 3+ yrs. of experience in JSF, JPA, JAX-WS/RS, JS Frameworks (AngularJS, ReactJS)
• 3+ yrs. of experience in JUnit, TDD
• 3+ yrs. of experience in Agile project involvement, Software Craftsmanship principle alignment
• 3+ yrs. of experience with Eclipse / RSA, IntelliJ
• 3+ yrs. of experience with WebSphere application server or equiv (Spring boot, WLP, Weblogic, JBOSS, Glassfish)
• 2+ yrs. of experience with Accurev, GIT, Gradle
• 2+ yrs. of experience with MVC framework or Spring framework
