Job description:

Naandi is headquartered in Hyderabad and focuses on 3 broad themes – Drinking Water, Child Rights and Sustainable Livelihood. Naandi currently works in nine states touching the lives of more than one million people.

In 2003 Naandi began its journey to provide safe drinking water with a single mission to improve life and health of people and communities by giving access to healthy water every day through installation of community owned safe drinking water projects. Rather than relying on an external organization for implementation, Naandi set up in 2009 an implementation organization, Naandi Community Water Services (NCWS), which carries out the technical aspects of the work; It brings the best expertise to assembling and installing the water treatment unit, ensures that the output water meets Indian water quality standards, addresses operational issues, and manages user fee collection. As on January 2018, NCWS has implemented more than 600 community centers across 6 states – Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan. It has a dedicated team of over 100 working on safe drinking water and is the largest and most experienced community water center operator in India.
As part of NCWS vision, to be a sustainable organization, EFP (Equity funded plants) business vertical was set-up in 2017. Primary objective of the EFP vertical is to replicate the model in urban communities, within the purview of legal & regulatory norms, as applicable. EFP business will enable higher Gross Profit (GP) through better price points and volume. Through this model, NCWS will attain sustainability and continue to create more social impact to communities. EFP business currently operates in the ‘Packaged drinking water’ segment in Hyderabad city and ‘Purified drinking water’ segment in Vijayawada-Guntur cluster. The incumbent will head the EFP business and drive the mission of establishing and replicating the EFP model, across urban clusters in India.
