Job description:

We are looking for 8+ years experienced Performance Test Engineer

Preferred skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Performance Testing for Web, Rest API and Mobile applications.
• Must have proven expertise through extensive work experience in scripting performance tests, preferably using toolsets that we currently use (JMeter, Gatling).
• Design, develop and execute performance test scripts relating to Web, Rest API and Mobile applications and/or business processes.
• Strong understanding of Performance Test Engineering concepts, methodology, terminology and implementation.
• Ability to customize performance test scripts with programming logic (i.e. Java) for data correlation.
• Identify bottlenecks and provide recommendations based on performance test result analysis.
• Strong understanding of Java runtime (JVM) performance, JMX, Garbage Collection and Thread management.
• Hands on experience with Performance engineering and monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, CloudWatch etc.
• Expert in implementing CICD Pipeline based executions using Jenkins/Jmeter setup.
• Strong skills in monitoring & reporting frameworks such as Splunk, CloudWatch.
• Performance tuning and debugging skills are strongly desired. (JVM tuning, heap and thread dump analysis, identifying database performance bottlenecks and suggesting solutions).
• Design and implement solutions to evaluate and improve performance and scalability.
• Support onshore/offshore resource working models.
