As a part of this function, the R&D Development team designs, develops, and maintains software products and solutions, including the underlying systems and architecture. Responsible for delivering world-class products and solutions using established standards and processes in collaboration with other R&D functions.

 

The role of the test team is to ensure the product quality by designing, executing functional & non-functional automated and manual test across the range of AVEVA 3D Design & Production Software Products. Each member of the team owns full responsibility for their module and test scope to ensure the product quality. The team proactively identify improvements and enhancements to existing test suites in line with technological advancements. The test team is part of the larger product development team.

 

We are looking for a Senior Automation Test Engineer to join the AVEVA 3D Design & Production Software Product test team at Hyderabad. The test team will be responsible for ensuring the high quality of AVEVA Software Product deliveries to customers.

 

In this role you will:

 

• You will be the go-to person in regards with test automation and solve challenging automation glitches and provides resolution to the queries of team and projects.

• You will be adding value and enhancing the automation architecture and strategy to bring effectivity and technological advancements.

• You will be maintaining and keeping the test suite well stabilized/robust for batch executions for any test requirements.

• You will be having goal to improve test automation productivity and effectivity to achieve reduction in the test schedule and improving the product quality.

• You will be effectively defining, automating, executing and debugging test cases to its completeness.

• You will be responsible for defining the test automation framework and performing POC of automation tools as and when required.

• You will be adding value to test automation processes.

 

Qualifications

 

• Minimum Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science.

• Professional Experience of 6-8 years using Desktop based automation testing.

• Should have strong programming skills using C#, C++ /.NET OR Java/Python/ VB.

• Should be an expert in using HP UFT/QTP, ALM/ Quality Centre and has good experience in other industry leading automation tools.

• Experience in CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Bamboo.

• Experience in API testing will be an added advantage

• Excellent automation problem solving skills

• Should have good experience in designing and development of automation test framework

• Experience in Agile Methodology of Software Product Development using Scrum.

• Expertise in STLC and SDLC.

• Experience in any one of defect management Azure DevOps/Microsoft Team Foundation Server/JIRA etc.

• Experience in Industrial/Engineering software automation will be preferred.

• Knowledge of Lean Agile principles/SAFe will be an added advantage.

• Should have experience in using any Version Control tools like GIT, ClearCase.
