Job description:

Key Responsibilities  Responsible for medium and complex preparation and review of simple and medium tax computations (and tax provisions where in scope).  Delivering a high-quality product within the agreed time frames.  Provide day to day support to Managers to assist with the delivery of tax computations and client service.  Draft budgets and assist with preparation and negotiations for new or repeat work.  Liaise with the Data Management team to enable collection and analysis of tax data.  Deal with client queries in relation to data requests during data exchange by exception or as escalated.  Participating in telephone calls with clients, other PwC team members and HMRC.  Buddying junior staff members on basic tax technical and tax compliance process matters.  Build relationships both within the firm and externally with clients, identifying opportunities and expectations and provide high levels of client service.  Responsible for day-to-day client liaison.  Follow firms best practice and policy around the compliance process.
