Job description:
Key Responsibilities
Provide application support to wide range of Central business application.
Ability to pick support for new applications enhancements getting transitioned from development to support
Work closely with the Project Lead and Project Manager to understand & report back regular status of assigned tasks
Strict compliance to support processes, Adherence to FIL company level policies
Perform regular knowledge sharing through documentation and training sessions to other members
Will be expected to work on-call rotation and work in shifts (early morning, late evening and/or weekends).
Experience in working for validating and performing DR transitions
Interact with customers to understand their problems and provide solutions
Produce technical documentation as necessary
Ownership of problems from first notification through to resolution
Identify problem areas and escalate where necessary
Explore new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and robustness in deliverables
Experience & Qualifications:
BE / B-Tech / MCA
5-7 Years of Experience on PL/SQL, Python, UNIX and Informatica.
Essential Skills:
Strong Experience with Oracle Database & Data warehouse.
Hands on Experience in writing complex SQL queries
Extensive experience and hands-on knowledge of PL/SQL (Packages/Functions/Ref cursors)
Extensive experience and hands-on knowledge of UNIX.
Knowledge of OBIEE 12c.
Knowledge of Informatica.
Diagnostic and analytical skills
Strong communication & analytical skills and the ability to understand complex business problems and propose solutions.
Experience of working with multi-cultural teams in a geographically diverse environment
Nice to have skills
AWS and/or other cloud Platforms.
Snowflake
Knowledge of tools like JIRA/Confluence or Agile Methodology.
Knowledge of IT Service Management tool e.g., ServiceNow
