Job Title: Manager FP & A
Role Summary:
The FP&A Manager is responsible for business forecasting and corresponding budgets as well as performance-based analysis.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Support preparation of budgets /Operating plans for Synchrony India.
• Work with the Senior FP&A Manager/AVP to manage a rolling monthly forecast model and provide timely insights into performance against budget/forecast.
• Validating accuracy of financial data and business information and reports by performing reconciliation and review of exceptions.
• Review of various expenses and analysis of business performance versus Plan and forecast to drive cost efficiency/Productivity.
• Working with the other financial professionals across the Company and enhance the understanding and critical levers of the Synchrony business.
• Performing cost / benefit analysis and Preparation of ad-hoc reports as per business / function’s request.
• Identify areas for process/report standardization across different functions/Business Units and manager appropriate SOP’S as applicable.
• Performing month/Quarter end closing activities and MIS reports for the respective business / functions including expenses accruals.
• Work closely with controllership team to ensure proper accounting of revenue and expenses to appropriate cost centers and work with tax team on Net Income workings.
• Manage billing process, Cost center Review.
• Work with statutory and Internal Auditors.
