Must be thorough with the design specification which includes electrical system design like layout engineering, cable selection and routing, controls, earthing, illumination, lightening protection etc.
Have a good knowledge of various electrical equipments used in the projects and selection of the equipments
Study of tender specification and ensure project is carried out as per the same
Interact with customers / consultant for understanding technical requirements and implement the same.
Apply value engineering to reducing cost of the project.
Give support to sales team in vetting the BOQ and tender specifications to be quoted whenever desired by the sales team.
