ABOUT THE ROLE
- Knowledge on understanding the requirements and design the project.
- Implement and document standard methodologies and strategies regarding application development and testing practices.
- Collaborate with other IT senior members and ensure asset management line items are being completed.
- Drive improvement ideas and innovation by collaborating with other team members in Commercial, AZIT and beyond (e.g. with Vendor virtual customer communities & Vendor Technical Support)
- Should have good debugging / troubleshooting skills.
- Developers must also understand security protocols that protect users from external threats and stay on the cutting edge of the changing field of technology and cybersecurity.
- application developers may be required to not only code aspects of the server environment but admin platforms that are required for critical systems to function.
- ensure updates are pushed out to keep the programs running smoothly, and all security measures are met, as well as debugging issues as they arise.
- Ensure tech assessments are completed for each CR and logged in JIRA
- Assign COE resources to prioritised CRs
- Perform analysis for proposing solution/technical design for various market requirements
- Co-ordination with Test and Release engineering team for defect management and successful deployment of the enhancements to the production tenants.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Good Knowledge in AWS Services like EC2, EMR, Lambda , Data Pipeline, RDS , Step Functions, API Gateway. SNS and SQS.
- Ability to create EC2 Instances with the best possible instance types/spot instances.
- Good Knowledge in Unix and Python scripting.
- Ability to solve EMR.
- Knowledge in Zappa or Serverless is preferrable
- Good understanding in S3 encryption - Custom, KMS and default.
- Java programming knowledge is preferable.
- Good proven knowledge in Pyspark and PysparkSQL
- Ability to create the IAM Policies, Roles, Groups , Users with consistency to principle of least privilege
