Job Description / Capsule

This Transformation role, part of ETS Operations, is seeking a passionate, strategic, analytical, and hands-on leader to drive large-scale transformation initiatives across Enterprise Technology services most critical operations. The role is highly cross-functional, requiring exceptional business acumen and the skills to identify, prioritize, and implement high-impact change. The ideal candidate will be passionate about IT operations, the technology industry, and to play a major role in transformations that unlock the full potential of operations, sustained by building institutional capabilities and adding agility.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Strategic Impact - Supports the implementation of ETS operations Strategy
  • Leading the delivery and Change execution for programmes and initiatives 
  • Governance of Service Delivery, KPI Measurement, Quality, Continuous improvement & operational governance
  • Essential to have prior experience on working on Operations Transformation programmes

Typical Accountabilities

Major responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • As a strategy manager,
    • Overcome political, behavioural, and systematic barriers to enable creativity, change and business growth. They take unique initiatives which help provide alternative solutions to the existing problems. They also identify gaps in the business and advice on the corrective actions necessary.
    • As a Strategy manager coach capability leader to help them implement the plan and meet their goals. They provide support in strategizing individual capability and review, analyse, and manage all existing department strategies to ensure all departments align with the business's key strategies.
    • Participates in development of Digital Strategy and IT Strategy
    • Strategic planning providing focus, improves operations, increases collaboration, and sets priorities.
    • Future state design and road mapping: Design a coherent vision of the operations system and step-change aspiration, the implementation road map, and a change management strategy.
    • Maintains up-to-date awareness of the current and future directions of the industry and, where appropriate, makes recommendations for implementation of the same for ETS Operations to have the competitive edge.
  • As transformation manager,
    • Play a pivotal role in supporting growth and transformation efforts by managing medium to large-sized transformational programs and will be the primary contact groups within the organization.
    • Undertake extensive Business Transformation, Enterprise Agile, Operations Excellence, and Strategic Cost Transformation (e.g. target operating model design, agile delivery, lean, process re-engineering and workflow)
  • As a business performance manager,
    • Lead the development and execution of monthly & quarterly business planning performance management analytics (single source of truth to the director of ETS Operations)
    • Design initiatives to realize vision across dimensions and achieve aspiration. Launch identified quick wins.
    • Adapt specific corporate processes to support an integrated operations agenda. Ensure the corporate business functions, from business strategy to human resources to digital and analytics, are operationally focused.
    • Cross-operations diagnostic: Assess the current operations system (including processes, digital and analytics, management practices, mindset and behaviours, and capabilities), and size the full improvement potential
    • Creating and evolving scaled ecosystem delivery frameworks alongside your ETS Operations team to ensure we increase speed to market over time
    • Promotes IT Operational Excellence through effective use of internal process and tools to support high levels of internal customer service
    • Ability in creating executive presentations with a clear story telling
  • As a resource manager,
    • Support the creation of methodologies, procedures, and governance to manage the tracking of headcount for ETS Operations.
    • Play an advisory role and help drive decisions in a matrix environment and engage with Director and competency leads to ensure alignment relating to resourcing decisions
    • Maintains a good understanding of industry best practices on resourcing and make strategic recommendations for resourcing size and mix forecasts at every team level.
    • Reimagining operations for productivity, resilience, and environmental sustainability through performance gains, flexibility, and speed
    • Helping the ETS Operations team to understand precisely where and how they can maximize operational performance, resilience, and environmental sustainability and identify opportunities for reimagination including through conscious consumption and demand management
