ABOUT THE ROLE
- Support to our procurement platforms (Coupa &/SAP Ariba) to handle 2nd/ 3rd line support (technical queries, bug fixes, and small enhancements relating to application and platform), aligning with AstraZeneca standards, change control procedures
- Monitor operational performance in a manner consistent with Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) Take the lead during remediation of priority incidents (P1 & P2) and update all partners as appropriate in alignment with AstraZeneca’s priority communication process.
- Proactive in identifying areas for process improvement or finding opportunities for Automation. Demonstrated ability to apply technical knowledge to multiple systems and support multiple business groups.
- Liaise with multiple partners including users, infrastructure/middleware teams, 3rd party software vendors for resolving issues and potential process improvements.
- Ensure that the application operates within and aligns with any regulatory, financial, or internal AstraZeneca standards (SOx).
- Supports the DevOps / Scrum Lead in reviewing the performance of the applications within the capability
- Work within a DevOps culture and Agile Scrum methodology.

Essential for the role
- 5-7
- years of prior experience working in support and maintenance (L2/L3 support) of Procurement applications (SAP Ariba &/ Coupa)
- Critically essential to have Understanding of procurement concepts like Sourcing, Contracting, Requisitioning, Ordering, Receipting, Invoicing, Payments, and Spend Analysis.
- Experience with both upstream and downstream P2P (Coupa/Ariba) applications (contract and procurement/invoicing)
- Basic understanding of SAP FICO modules and integration of P2P applications
- Experience with SAP PI integrations (IDOCS, CXML)
- Exposure to DevOps and Agile ways of working will be preferred
- Expertise in incident, problem, change, and release management following ITIL processes.
- Experienced with IT Service Management tools like ServiceNow & Jira
- Experience working with third-party vendor applications
- Demonstrated ability to apply technical knowledge to multiple systems and support multiple business groups.
- Fluent English to constantly communicate with people from different countries across the globe.
- Demonstrable ability to work independently or in conjunction with a team.
- Experience in creating/understanding operational process/procedures, work instructions, and SOPs
- Ability to learn, document, test, and roll out new packages
