ROLE OBJECTIVE
Technical Specialist I will report to the Supervisor – Technical Support and will be a member of the Solar team, responsible for Computer Aided design of products and sustaining engineering support for existing Solar, HVCS products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Create Production drawing, customer drawing, EBOM for Solar Harnesses, HVCS and other components within Connector and Fitting.
3D CAD design using Creo/Pro-E & 2D CAD design
Product Data management of BOMs, routings etc. (SAP)
Assist global engineering team with New Product Developments across a range of projects
Recording results of design reviews and design decision meetings
EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE
Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering
Organized, methodical and self-motivated individual with the ability to work under minimal supervision, on own initiative and meet own commitments is essential.
Experience with Creo, Auto-CAD is essential.
2 to 4 years mechanical engineering related experience for Energy market applications, plastic/rubber processing, metal processing preferred
Experience in Windchill product data management environment an advantage
Proficient in MS Office suite
Fluent English

Proven ability to execute on engineering deliverables
Strong customer service mindset and mentality of delivering quality products and services on time and within company cost and profitability objectives.
Fluent communication skills facilitating collaboration with own team, customers, internal business leaders and technology leaders to create value.
Individual must be self-motivated and require minimum supervision, have strong planning skills and be able to deal with and balance multiple competing priorities
