Job Posting Title: Manufacturing Team leader III & IV
ROLE OBJECTIVE
Responsible for leading a section of operators within the production function supporting the Production supervisor with the day to day management , overseeing a group of operators and ensuring efficient operation in achieving the production targets, provide leadership and line management to the team, coordinating their work loads, providing support to ensure that the team delivers, monitoring any issues, and ensuring targets ,Key performance indicators (KPIs) and Quality standards are met in order to meet the requirements of the customer. Develop a team by providing proper training and guidance fostering a culture of working safely, Work under general supervision reviewed by management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning, Execution and Management.
Planning and execution of received planned orders/ Schedule from the planners, by providing the picklist for Piece parts to Stores, executing the plan accordingly and meet daily production output.
Planning of Manpower to achieve the required daily rate.
To do the necessary transaction in ERP daily basis.
To ensure the absenteeism will be within the acceptable limits.
To ensure the cross training in the department.
Training of the operators as per the Operation description.
To manage and assure the technical requirement of the relays are met.
Ensure all day-to-day activities are done in accordance with the standard requirements.
Prior supervisory or leadership experience is required
Experience in the use of Six Sigma tools and lean manufacturing techniques
Experience in lead time reduction and cost savings activities
Prior experience in a plant lean transformation is a plus
Be aware of EH&S issues i.e. COSHH & Risk assessments.
Adhere to working practices & production procedures.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with two-year supervisory experience / Diploma in Engineering with three years supervisory experience in mechanical, electrical, electronic or related engineering discipline.
