BU / FUNCTION DESCRIPTION

 

Industrial Solutions segment supplies products that connect and distribute power, data and signals. Within Industrial Solutions segment, Industrial BU supplies products and solutions for factory automation and process control systems such as industrial controls, robotics, human machine interface, industrial communication, & power distribution. TE’s intelligent building products are used to connect lighting, HVAC, elevator/escalators and security. Its rail products are used in high-speed trains, metros, light rail vehicles, locomotives and signaling switching equipment. Also, the products are used by the solar & lighting industry.

 

 

ROLE STATEMENT

 

Account Manager is responsible for revenue growth in a given territory by growing the existing customers and developing new customers.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Prepare customer wise Financial year budget and broad execution plan.

Provide Monthly Sales Forecast and achieve revenue target.

Prepares sales plans to introduce TE products in industrial market. Performs regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls. Determine and execute appropriate sales strategies in accordance with the Company’s growth plans and ensure attainment of Overall Sales Budget.

Create seals funnel as per target and manage through SFDC.

Handle customers from Industrial Segment such as Machinery, Automation and Controls, Power, Building Automation, Factory Automation. Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand customer needs. Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.

Having technical acumen to understand the customer need and do effective communication with the Internal PM /technical team for arranging desired support. To be organized and be methodical in handling responsibilities and to ensure that accurate and immediate follow-up is done, to respond quickly to needs of the market/Customer, and be alert to situations that may be problem-causing

Help DSO in payment collection and achieve the targets.

Interact with other business departments (Technical Teams, Logistics Teams, Finance Teams, Customer support ) to ensure alignment with sales objectives. Willingness to travel as needed to generate business

Competent in computer operations/ MS Office. Able to understand and work on   SFDC

 

 

 

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE

 

BE/B Tech Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Mechatronics, Electronics and Electrical.

 

CRITICAL EXPERIENCE

 

5-10 years of Experience in sales of Electrical / Electro-Mechanical Components or systems.

Experience in selling through Channel / Distribution partners.
Having experience in selling connector, relays, passive components, electro-mechanical components.
