What you will do:
Computer aided engineering (CAE) is responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of simulation servers, license packages and systems.
The administrator ensures that enterprise CAE infrastructure remains up to date.
The administrator works with Divisional CAE leads, internal and external service providers and defines the annual plan for license update, server update, QA testing Ensure greater productivity and averts risk of infrastructure downtime proactively.
Configure and support enterprise High Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure in Linux and Windows environment
Configuring various CAE/CAD tools license managers for simulation processes, server management and monitoring utilization
Configure and manage HPC infrastructure in the data center including standalone and enterprise servers.
Experience with monitoring and optimizing license utilization across the enterprise
Managing the overall administration of system involving, configuration and maintenance of application servers.
Installing Servers and peripherals to ensure effective server administration.
Providing daily onsite administrative support for users in a variety of work environments.
Troubleshooting issues reported by users and address them through suitable remediation actions in short turnaround
Addressing queries regarding the information system & extending onsite support to the clients on maintenance of hardware / software.
Identify best practices in on-premises and cloud infrastructure and discuss with CAE Leads for execution across enterprise applications
Liaison with internal stakeholders and external vendor partners/service providers for seamless functioning of simulation infrastructure 24/7
Work with global IT and network security teams to make sure the enterprise wide infrastructure comply with Stryker compliance
What you need:
Work Experience: 7-10 years in relevant domain
Education: B.S/B.Eng./MS/M.Eng/Post graduate in CAD/CAE/PLM, IT, Computer Science/MCA or equivalent Engineering/Science background
Experience in HP/DELL EMC servers, workstations installation/deployment and day-to-day maintenance
Hands-on experience Ansys Minerva/VDI, PBS or similar
Linux and Windows operating systems
CAE tools quality assurance package testing such as Ansys Structural, CFD etc.
Worked with Computer system validation for custom tools
Proficiency in handling Ansys products, ABAQUS, Altair Radioss and HyperMesh installation, configuration, and version update
Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and similar computational physics is mandatory
