bout your role

 

This role is for an experienced Senior Analyst Programmer to work within the CASS Technology team. The successful candidate will be expected to work on development projects to support & strengthen the complex functional domain of client money delivery and line the delivery sign-off with operation and business.

 

The role requires close working with colleagues in the UK offices, and as such the candidate may be required to work UK business hours sometimes. On occasions the candidate may also be required to work extended hours/weekends to cover changes and release implementations, for example.   This demanding role would perfectly suit a dynamic individual looking to work in a fast paced environment to ensure the smooth running of business critical systems. 

 

About you

 

The candidate should have:

 

  • Ability to design, implement and continuously expand data pipelines by performing extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) activities.
  • Gather requirements and business process knowledge in order to transform the data in a way that’s geared toward the need of users.
  • Advanced understanding of Informatica ETL tool and exposure to SQL Queries/Scripts to validate the data.
  • Hands-on with UNIX and Sybase / RDBMS programming
  • Ability to create new tables, views and access stored procedure in SQl server.
  • Ability to accurately log defects, escalate issues and risks and provide accurate management reporting.
  • Work closely with the Business Analysts to understand the requirements and apply the same while devising solutions.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the development team, architects and leads.

 

Experience and Qualifications Required

 

  • BE / B-Tech / MCA
  • Knowledge of Informatica ETL tool
  • Knowledge of data modelling principles
  • Experience of complete project lifecycle execution
  • Excellent experience in MS SQL Server and sybase DB skill.
  • Proficiency in SQL and SQL programming using Oracle & MSSQL Server
  • Experience of Source Control Tools like Subversion/GIT
