In this role you will get to:

• Provide constructive feedback and influence the performance and career development of high performing engineers
• Full ownership of the API and services for our product(s), contribute and collaborate with peers on cross team initiatives
• Continuous collaboration with stakeholders across multiple departments and teams to understand their business and product strategies and translate those into strategic technical plans
• Collaborate with senior management in developing long-term technology road maps and execution of existing initiatives
• Lead  multiple projects - including planning, prioritization, and task delegation
• Encourage accountability for the quality of software that is created

Who you are:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent practical experience
• 10-12 years of experience in Software Engineering, with at least 2 years of experience in managing teams
• Proven leader in hiring, mentoring, coaching and developing engineering talent, including performance management
• Expert knowledge of Java, its best practices, multi-threaded programming and SQL. Knowledge with Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Cloud Data tools
• Proficient in using the project and development workflow tools such as JIRA and GIT, Jenkins for CICD
• Experience of working with and leading Agile based project development and knowledge of devops processes
• A crafty problem solver to work in a fast paced environment who works to find win-win solutions. You knock down barriers
• Ability to drive the development of high scale systems and system integrations
