Why this job’s a big deal:

Priceline is looking for a world class, high energy Senior Technical Program Manager to join the Product and Program Delivery team to support and improve our business processes.  In this critical role, you will partner with Product and Tech leaders to plan, design and drive the execution of projects to make big deal moments for our customers, and to ensure that we remain competitive, and get the work done.

In this role you will get to:

  • Join a multi-year project to design and implement Priceline’s  Global Flights platform, known as Firefly,  partnering closely with external vendors and internal Priceline Data, Application, Product and Infrastructure team members to achieve goals.
  • Governance and Communications: Lead or participate in program governance as required. Ensure all senior leaders and stakeholders are well-informed about progress, risks, issues and any program changes.
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders and program contributors to set quarterly team goals that align to Priceline’s Flights’s development roadmaps.
  • Shepherd the program’s complex processes into concrete deliverables, and translate these deliverables from definition to deployment across the organization.
  • Ensure accurate and current information is shared broadly with senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Contribute your ideas and best practices to be leveraged by your peers in the Product & Program team.
  • Manage one or more agile scrum teams of in-house and off-shore developers, running all sprint ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, story pointing, demos and retrospectives.
  • Promote and utilize business intelligence reporting and metrics, acting as an ambassador for measurement, accountability and a disciplined approach to process improvement throughout the Priceline organization. Utilize your experience in Agile management to design processes and manage program execution.

Who you are:

  • You have 10-15 years of Program Management experience  in a technology organization (preferably ecommerce), running a variety of product development, infrastructure, compliance, security or privacy programs.

  • You are someone who possesses assertiveness and diplomacy, and achieves team cohesion, while integrating and aligning corporate initiatives.
  • You have a proven ability to juggle and balance conflicting priorities, to build  best in class solutions with an eye for fine details, and to break down high-level problems and articulate solutions to both business and technical audiences
  • Ideally, you have used Jira/Confluence or similar Agile Project Management Environments, and are experienced with Agile SCRUM or Kanban development.
  • Illustrated history of living the values necessary to Priceline:  Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability and Trust.
