What you’ll be doing:
The work you'll be doing is to support mission and business-critical applications within Verizon. You will be enhancing the customer experience and building a world class solution. Under the mentorship of a technical lead who would be supporting you on delivery, you will also work as a team member on various projects and mentor junior resources. You will help develop, implement and maintain this important application.
• Designing, developing and maintaining applications by evaluating client needs, analyzing requirements and developing software systems.
• Executing full software development life cycle (SDLC) – concept, design, build, deploy, test, release and support.
• Testing and coordinating all user interfaces changes of Responsive Web Design.
• Ensuring code delivered as per security guidelines such as OWASP, DAST, Source Code.
• Ensuring application development sprint cycle is on track and adjusting the plan to meet release timelines.
• Acting independently, at the same time displaying excellent collaboration within and between various teams.
• Understanding the domain knowledge and adapting to an agile environment.
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use in front end and back-end technologies.

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

You'll need to have:
• Bachelor’s degree with four or more years of work experience.
• Four or more years of experience in developing web-based UI using JavaScript, React.js, Typescript.
• Experience in micro frontends, AEM.
• Exposure to microservices, Oracle BRM, ADF, SOA, Rabbit MQ, Kafka.
• Vast Experience in Frontend technologies - Node.js, HTML 5 & CSS3.
• Experience in SDLC and Agile Development.
• Knowledge of Cloud Services Architecture.
• Experience in cloud-native application development environments - Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience in building/deploying applications using Git, Maven & Jenkins.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
• Knowledge on performance tuning, scalability, security for heavy traffic Digital Application.
• Prior experience in telecom industry.
• Experience in creating REST Services preferably using Java, Spring Framework, Microservices Architecture.
• Strong analytical, debugging skills.
• Knowledge with OWASP rules and mitigate security vulnerabilities using security tools like Fortify, Sonarqube, Blackduck etc.
• Knowledge with Unit testing framework like Junit.
• Knowledge monitoring tools like Glass Box, QuantumMetrics, NewRelic, Splunk, Kibana.
• Ability to understand Agile and DevOps tools and technologies.
• Experience working with agile methodologies, such as Kanban, TDD or Scrum.
