What you’ll be doing
As a Senior Engr., you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining ABAP-based solutions for our SAP S/4 System. The candidate should have a strong technical background in ABAP programming. The ability to work independently and deliver high-quality solutions is crucial for this role.

•    Designing, developing, testing, and implementing ABAP-based solutions in accordance with business requirements and best practices.
•    Collaborating with functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical expertise and recommendations.
•    Developing and maintaining ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements.
•    Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
•    Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to ABAP development.
•    Participating in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
•    Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate ABAP solutions with other systems and modules.
•    Conducting performance tuning and optimization of ABAP programs for enhanced system performance.
•    Providing guidance and support to junior developers and team members as needed.
•    Staying up to date with the latest developments and advancements in SAP ABAP technology.
Where you’ll be working…
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

You will need to have:
•    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
•    6-8years of hands-on experience as an SAP ABAP. Minimum 1.5 years of experience in ABAP on HANA.
•    Strong proficiency in ABAP programming language and SAP development tools.
•    Good knowledge of Interfaces – Idoc, ALE, File RFC and BAPI
•    Good knowledge of Enhancement techniques - User exits, BAdIs, and Enhancement framework
•    Good knowledge of Workflow and OOABAP
•    Understanding of Supply Chain and Finance business processes at high level.
•    Proficient in debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting custom as well as standard ABAP programs.
•    Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality solutions within established timelines.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to propose innovative solutions.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
•    Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Even better if you have one or more of the following:
•    SAP certification in ABAP development or related areas.
•    Experience with SAP S/4 HANA development.
•    Knowledge of CDS, OData, and ABAP 7.5.
•    Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
•    Experience with SAP integration technologies such as PI/PO or SAP CPI
