Solution Architect - SFCC o IT Centre Bengaluru GDTC Apply Solution Architect - SFCC Job Description Solution Architect eCommerce Job Description The Consumer and Marketing Technologies Department is the IT Engine that delivers robust solutions to Kimberly-Clarks marketing teams by working with the appropriate internal and external resources including vendor partners. Our goal is to deliver innovative, efficient and cost-effective solutions to meet enterprise needs thereby driving business growth and profitability. The eCommerce Solution Architect is a technology leader who will be responsible for architecting a global D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) platform that seamlessly integrates with other marketing platforms in line with the global digital platform vision. The architect has the key responsibility for the D2C technical stack built around Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC). He/she is responsible for building a platform with minimum customization while offering the right level of flexibility through configuration. As a hands-on expert, the Solution Architect will ensure that SFCC components and integrations are loosely coupled to be used across global implementations in a cost-effective way. This role will work with appropriate global teams to ensure compliance with the enterprise security guidelines. The Solution Architect will be accountable for the identification, tracking, mitigating, remediation, and verification of CRM security vulnerabilities globally. The right person for this role is proactive with stakeholders, a self-starter who can work under broad direction, and passionate about delivering world-class digital products that enable the business to optimize operations to maximize the value of K-C investments. Key Accountabilities Facilitate the leadership vision around building a global D2C platform by taking a platform approach to architecture and implementation. Create reusable components and services using Salesforce Commerce cloud and related technologies to drive the business outcomes and the global platform vision. Promote reuse of technology implementations by architecting and implementing reusable APIs/microservices, frameworks and technology abstractions across regions and markets. Provide technology leadership for implementation of new technology platform / capabilities, by performing design reviews, code walkthroughs / review to ensure adherence to standards and security guidelines. Provide technical due diligence of software products and platforms. Create technical assessments, based on criteria including cost, security, vendor fit, alignment to objectives, reliability, and scalability Perform root-cause analysis of application related incidents and help improve the status quo through innovative solutions. Drive improvements in engineering practices to optimize cost and quality Maintain and evolve cultural awareness; act with global fluency. Adopt a test and learn, fail fast mindset with calculated risk taking. Act as a disruptive change agent fluidly moving back and forth between transformation initiatives and day-to-day business as usual. Delivers right mix of operations, delivery, strategy and innovation. Key Qualifications and Experiences A degree in computer science or equivalent. Functional background of CPG / retail business is a plus. Strong SDLC experience including Agile/Waterfall is required. Strong facilitation, leadership, creative thinking, and collaboration skills required. Must display resiliency and the ability to engage and communicate with stakeholders at all levels of an organization. Experience working with virtual teams across time zones Technical and development experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands on experience in the architecture, design, development and implementation of large-scale web and mobile applications for consumers adhering to non-functional requirements like security, reliability, scalability and availability standards.   5+ year of experience in implementing eCommerce applications using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and/or Demandware is required. At least the last two years of experience is expected to be in Salesforce Commerce Cloud. Strong, in-depth, programming skills in a popular programming language like Java adopting practices like CI/CD using Jenkins, TDD, BDD etc. is required. Good working knowledge on the Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA) Good understanding of object-oriented programming, relational databases and build script, deep understanding of the deployment considerations specific to SaaS based cloud server are expected. Experience in integrating ecommerce stores with external payment gateways and such other third- party eCommerce service providers is a must. Also, understanding of MOR, SOR etc. is an advantage. Good understanding data privacy and data protection regulations like GDPR, CCPA is desired. Experience implementing solutions adhering to PCI regulations is an advantage. Strong experience in APIs (SOAP/REST) and database technologies is expected. Experience with front end development technologies (HTML5, CSS, JQuery) Experience integrating on-premise and cloud-based SaaS solutions is a must. AWS or Azure cloud experience is a plus. Exposure to other products in the Salesforce suite is a plus.       Global VISA and Relocation Specifications: K-C requires that an employee have authorization to work in the country in which the role is based. In the event an applicant does not have current work authorization, K-C will determine, in its sole discretion, whether to sponsor an individual for work authorization.
