Job description:

Purpose of the position:

Since 2020, delivery of cash flow has become a BU driven KPI. Targets for cash flow, and related KPI such as DIOH, DSO, DPO are given for each BU which are monitored as rigorously as Revenue, Gross Margins or Operating Income.

Hence, there is a need to have a Finance Manager who is able to monitor, track, drive and deliver on this important KPI


Key Accountabilities

  • Delivery of in-year Cash Flow for India BU (All entities in India and Bangladesh)
  • Planning, forecasting, monitoring, reporting and analysis of various elements of Cash Flow – such as Debtors, Accounts Payables, Working Capital Management, Tax paymentsetc
  • Understanding and assimilating various drivers for each of these elements and influencing relevant stakeholders(within Finance and outside Finance) to achieve targets
  • Regional Reporting to AMEA Region for AC, replans, monthly / quarterly forecasts, yearly submissions, actuals, variance analysis and bridging the gap between actuals and forecasts
  • Continuous monitoring of in-month movements, conceptualizing various models, levers, reportsetc and agreeing on action plans against each for delivery

Profile Specifications


  • 8-10 years of experience with extensive experience in the finance function of an MNC.
  • Must have reporting, FP&A experience and people management experience.
  • Preference for strong reporting and forecasting background
  • Sound understanding of the consumer goods industry and the inter-play within various functions.
  • Complete knowledge of end-to-end Financials, and the way it flows into Cash flow
  • Strong business understanding of how each process impacts cash flow 

Technical Skills

  • Proficient analytical skills. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint Skills
  • Solid understanding of Profit and Loss, balance sheet management and cashflow analysis
  • Prior cash flow experience will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent numbers skills, ability to churn out numbers quickly
  • Working knowledge with high level of comfort of SAP and HFM.
