ABOUT THIS JOB

In Nielsen Technology, we process over 250 terabytes of data every single day, manage it in the latest cloud technology, and build best-in-class analytical tools to add transparency and efficiency to the consumer goods market at a scale that no other company is able to achieve. We’re looking for an engineer who will be involved in ● Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure cloud. ● Full-Stack development in Java/Angular and Spring/Node ● Design, Develop, Deliver and support the next generation highly scalable applications and services on Azure Cloud ● 60% on Azure DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure management and 40% effort on full-stack development.

 

Responsibilities

● Lead member of the Azure DevOps and Cloud infrastructure - Own CI/CD process and best practices ● Develop visually appealing Web applications for internal and external customers ● Develop functional databases, applications, and servers to support websites on the Azure cloud ● Implement testing platforms and unit tests ● Integrate web applications with 3rd party API/SDK and also to the enterprise solution & database framework

 

About you

Minimum of 3-4 years of experience as a prime member in Azure DevOps & Cloud infrastructure and minimum of 2+ years of Full stack development experience (Java/Spring or Angular/Node)

 

Qualifications

● 3-4 years of experience in Azure cloud and related technologies primarily Docker containers and build/maintain Jenkins pipelines ● Experience in CI/CD implementations with all latest technologies. ● Implement and improve Cloud monitoring and alerting. ● Build and maintain highly available systems on Kubernetes. ● 2+ years of experience in backend like Java/Python and frontend frameworks like Angular or React will be an added advantage. ● Basic experience with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. ● Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL database platform

Added Skill Set :

● Ability to develop robust and scalable backend infrastructure of several microservices architecture defined by RESTful APIs using Serverless framework / architecture in Python, Java ● Strong knowledge in writing Automated Test Suites using frameworks like Jasmine, Protractor, Mocha, Cypress, Jest, or Selenium ● Proficiency with Git ● Following standards for clean and well documented code with equal emphasis on security and performance
