Job description:

PURPOSE OF ROLE

This role will work in the Learning Technology function in any or all of the following areas based on business need:

  • Manage and ensure full capability and compatibility of all new and existing learning and knowledge sharing systems, tools, and integrations, including cloud-based/mobile environments
  • Coordinate with learning delivery team design team to gather system/platform technical requirements, determine functional and reporting design needs, and ensure a successful user experience and support achievement of desired learning outcomes.
  • Work directly with cross-functional system owners in IT, Solutions, and other parts of the organization to create and maintain integration points for full system functionality
  • Work closely with third party vendors to manage and deliver desired system enhancements on various learning platforms.
  • Manage global compliance trainings end to end
  • Stakeholder management & Strategic Planning for various learning programs.
  • Knowledge of MS office, Basic learning management system understanding would be an added advantage.
  • Stay current on developments with online learning technologies to drive innovative and improved services
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required

KEY TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Establish processes and procedures to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the service offering, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and parity with industrial best practices.

Complete assigned tasks ensuring process/schedule adherence, and provide timely and accurate updates to People Services partners and Senior Leaders.

Develop and maintain productive working relationships with internal/external stakeholders and/or providers of learning solutions, establishing credibility as a partner to the business.

Utilize internal forums to share best practices, deliver efficiencies, and ensure sustainability of service through upskilling and cross-skilling.

BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT

  • Level of educational attainment:
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • Professional qualifications and accreditations/memberships:
    • Qualification in Technical background of learning technology will be added advantage
  • Previous work experience:
    • Professional experience of minimum 2 years in a service environment, preferably in the Learning domain
    • Proficiency in working with Learning Management Systems (Cornerstone, SABA, etc.)
    • Knowledge of typical delivery scheduling methodology
    • Experience in course design and development, with the ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
  • Language skills:
    • Must have very strong English written and verbal communication skills
  • IT/Other skills:
    • MS Office: Must have strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
    • Proficiency in the following e-learning authoring tools:
      • Articulate 360
      • Captivate
    • Visual Design skills; ability to storyboard
