What will I be doing at Ather?
You will train the service team in company owned & dealer owned service centers. Since EV is new in the industry, your task will be to make them understand the functioning of an EV, how to safely service and maintain an EV. Also, you will fine tune their soft skills in alignment with the brand and culture of Ather.
Your responsibilities include:
Conducts Service New Hire Training, Service Practical Training, Charging Infrastructure Training & Vehicle Diagnostics Training
Manages training adherence and attendance
Conduct and publish report on training participation, certification & performance for each new batch of New hire training
Manage the Service Training Center, including resource, tool, and trainer allocation; upkeep; availability of tools and inventory, etc.
Maintain and update a knowledge management repository for all Vehicle Service and CI training modules
Conduct refresher training based on new Change Requests/CAFV
Address queries from the local service teams in each city post training
Create service bulletins and maintain a repository of changes on CAFV and CRs
Travel periodically to retail partners (RP) & Company owned- company operated (COCO) service centers based on business needs
Mentor and manage a team of OJT technicians
Responsible for post training efficacy on shop floor
What kind of experience & skills do I need for this role?
Passionate service trainer with minimum 2 year experience in vehicle service training.
Hands-on experience in vehicle service of 2-3 years
Understanding and the ability to teach the soft skills required for the service team to enhance customer experience.
Having a strong understanding of the basics of automobile systems and components. Good knowledge of basics of electrical.
Excellent communication skills in English & Hindi is a must. 1 south india language is required

Work Experience : 4 years experience in the automotive industry with minimum 2years industry-experience as a trainer
