Job description:

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on database development experience.
• Hands-on experience with data modeling, database design, and large data sets.
• Deep knowledge of Database, Cloud Concepts, and Data Integration
• Excellent knowledge of RDBMS and hands-on experience in Postgres SQL , MySQL and PL/SQL.
• Hands-on with database object creation, triggers, synonyms, views, indexes, and constraints.
• Hands-on with the implementation of physical DB design.
• Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience of SQL performance tuning and database performance tuning.
• Designing and developing semantic data models to implement data strategies, build data flows and meeting business interactive use cases
• Understand logical and physical data models and best practices along with corresponding metadata to ensure high data quality and reusability
• Guide or advise on data modeling solutions optimized for relational, dimensional, and SQL databases.
• Hands-on experience of AWS cloud and its managed services like RDS, Lambda, S3, VPC etc.
• Solid communication skills and team player.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient in Data modelling.
• Experience writing and optimizing complex PL/SQL .
• Experience designing semantic data models for organizations at scale.
• Sound knowledge of distributed systems and writing low latency queries.
• Experience with AWS RDS or related technologies.
• Experience designing test suites for unite testing of sql code base.
• Knowledge of Data Security, Engineering and Operational Excellence using standard methodologies.

 

 

 

Description/ Responsibilities

• Influence and define the vision for key aspects of solution architecture and engineering best practices

• Design and provide solutioning for data modelling for the platform and act as a consultant for various internal businesses in creating an optimized data model for their applications
• Work alongside and mentor an inclusive team of engineers, write maintainable and thoroughly tested code.
• Assist Development Teams in designing, modeling and validating various RDBMS and no-sql solutions for their applications
• Conduct system performance evaluations both on premise and AWS
• Cross organizational boundaries (domains, divisions) to collaborate with other technology teams to tackle enterprise-wide problems.
• Effectively multi-task handling day-to-day assignments given moderate directions and supervision
