About your team

Investment Investment Risk & Attribution (IR&A) Technology team are responsible for calculation, presentation and storage of Investment Risk & Attribution analytics thereby supporting Portfolio Construction & Risk, Portfolio Managers, Risk Oversight and regulatory risk reporting teams.

 

About your role
IR&A is undergoing a major transformation and a new Vendor product is being implemented for all asset classes. This position is for an experienced agile engineer to focus on delivery of new business functionality and enablement of less experienced colleagues in a development team of approximately 15 people. The role is a crucial part of the team and is critical to enable us to deliver high quality systems to the business more quickly.

 

About you

• You have 5-7 years of ‘hands on’ experience on system software analysis, development and testing using:
  • Oracle PL-SQL (Triggers, reusable function and Oracle Query Performance Tuning),
  • Python (Pandas , API Development),
  • Unix and Control-M,
  • Source Control Tools such as Svn, Bit bucket
• You have strong Knowledge of Relational Databases Management Systems (RDBMS) concepts
• You have Knowledge of cloud fundaments
