Factor I: Accountability

• Work to meet Raw velocity target and focus towards ITO
• Review on ABC, FDS, FLM and Safety stock on periodically 
• Analysing cost impact by monitoring Change orders, hold orders, Customer requirement drop and work with PM/Sales for the CO cost recovery.   
• Sending of reports to Business Group (includes: - daily Stock statement, Inventory turnover, Inventory Forecast, BI Flat file, Excess stock, Change order Inventory report)
• Work closely with accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting on LCM and E&O
• Monthly Presentation to AP & USA on inventory POR and forecast.
• Material / Inventory Planning- Preparing material requirement plan as per SSD/Production requirements.
• Work to reduce aging inventory and improve inventory control.
• Coordinating with buyer and keep them posted on the critical orders and drive what is required for the month.
• Create reports to management on supply chain metrics, inventory volume, and sales forecasts to support purchasing decisions.
• Efficiently managing the inventory levels, for ensuring ready availability of material to meet production and dispatch targets.
• Review of material flow and recommended safety stock and/or inventory levels that prevented inventory stock outages.
• Monitoring and supervising the MRP processes on daily basis.

Knowledge and Skills

How Used

• Engineering or Commerce graduate with 8+ years relevant experience
• Good process knowledge about Planning and Inventory
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the necessary skills to effectively utilize technology and systems specific to the department required. 
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

             Knowledge on valve and Oracle ERP system will be an added advantage.
