Essential Job Functions:

Arrive and set KPI’s for the team in line with other

world areas and points that are specific to India.

Time to time monitoring and review of item activation,

order conversions and contract reviews

Work with GSC, taking their inputs to select an ideal

vendor for ordering (Price, Delivery, and payment

terms, optimized)

Ensure timely orders on vendors with all relevant

information, material receipts as per PO, amend PO’s

as appropriate before GRN to ensure seamless

payments.

Review open order status with the buyers and step-in

and help in case of problems. Escalate to obtain

support.

Participate in SBR monthly reviews conducted by GSC

and air our side of issues, if any to get support

Generate monthly report, review, and circulate for

critical actions and support required.

Monitor incoming material movement to control

inventory.

Put in effective systems for Purchase Ordering process

and delivery clauses to vendors.

Manage the relationship with all vendors overall to find

resolutions time to time.

Nurture good teamwork and culture within in function

and with peer functions

Conduct weekly review within the teams, make sample

audits to ensure proper Oracle records are created /

stored and retrieved time to time.

Measure Qualitative and Quantitative outcome to seek

new additions / trainings if required.

Time to time update of SSD in Oracle based on latest

supplier delivery date confirmations

Education / Experience Required:

Bachelor of Engineering with minimum 15+years in supply

chain role.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

Supervisory Requirements:

This role has to supervise the imports, casting and

bought-out buyers. Responsible for the day-to-day

direction, review and monitoring of key result areas of the

Procurement department and the business overall.

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training

employees; planning, assigning and directing work;

appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining

employees; addressing complaints and resolving

problems.
