Essential skills and experience

• • Deep understanding and practical knowledge of IDE’s eg Eclipse/PyCharm.
  • Deep understanding and hands-on experience of CICD processes and tooling e.g. GitHub.
  • Proven ability in converting a proposed design into an automated solution.
  • Prior work experience in converting a business workflow into an automated set of actions.
  • Proven knowledge in scripting and a willingness to learn new languages.
  • Hands-on experience in database concepts and fair idea about how data gets stored in the backend and connecting them to the UI.
  • Fantastic written & spoken English, interpersonal skills, and a collaborative approach to delivery.
  • An enthusiasm for great documentation (e.g. high level designs, low level designs, coding standards, Knowledge Base Articles).

Desirable skills and experience

• • Knowledge and experience of Collibra Data Governance platform.
  • Knowledge and experience of Mulesoft.
  • Knowledge and experience of one or more of the following: Java, JavaScript, Groovy, Python,
  • Excellent Jira skills including the ability to rapidly generate JQL on-the-fly, and save JQL queries/filters/views/etc for publishing to fellow engineers & senior stakeholders.
  • Line management.
  • Creation of documentation in Confluence.
  • Experience of Agile practices, preferably having been part of an Agile team for several years.
