IT Infrastructure Strategy & Operations
• Design, develop and maintain the IT department’s Infrastructure Service Roadmap, ensuring that IT capabilities continually support the overall business’s goals and objectives.
• Develop and implement IT service strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Interface with business partners to advise and provide Infra technology related solutions and thought leadership.
• Prepare Annual IT Infrastructure Service Transformation Plan for the Department along with the IT procurement plan.
• Analyze IT Infra requirements keeping in mind business impact, strategic value and organizational readiness for each project and service.
• Strategize IT disaster recovery, Manage and oversee the Business Continuity Plan and implementation of new investments within the technology infrastructure.
• Manage the IT service desk, ensuring timely response and resolution of user issues and requests.
• Implement incident management and problem resolution processes to minimize service disruptions.
• Continuously assess and improve IT service processes, workflows, and procedures.
• Identify and implement best practices to enhance service quality and efficiency.
• Ensure that core IT Infrastructure, Internet and Cloud based services are monitored, remediated, supported to agreed SLAs so that business operations can rely on a high degree of service availability.
• Running and analysing inventories of all assets, Liaising with vendors to obtain best practices, ensuring financial records are up to date and accurate, Reporting on finance and forecasting budgets, cost optimization, manage the asset disposal as per policies.
• Manage the Capex and Opex spends and keeping a track of the records to submit to finance or audit purposes.
• Provision of business tools & knowledge - accountable for ensuring hardware lifecycles are adhered to in line with Digital &Technology recommendations. Provision of appropriate IT knowledge and guidance to users in the form of OPLs, onboarding and knowledge-transfer.
• Cyber and Physical Security - works closely with Compliance Teams to ensure correct processes are implemented across the site; escalate non-compliance.
Areas of Expertise
• 8+ years IT experience in managing and/or directing an IT Infra operations / service delivery.
• Experience in leading IT Infrastructure Operations for Enterprises.
• Experience in IT service management and vendor management.
• Proven experience in IT strategic planning and development, project management, IT budgeting and policy development.
• Strong practical knowledge of private and public cloud computing standards.
• Background in Infrastructure design and operations.
• Strong technical and Project Management skills and leadership qualities.
• Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills with ability to articulate strategy and ideas to senior stakeholders in business language.
• Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
• Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, dynamic environment and manage multiple streams of projects and deliverables with a need for adjustments and rapid iteration.
