This role will significantly influence the creation and implementation of a globally aligned, yet locally authentic, People strategy. Key to its success, this leader will oversee and mentor a high-performing team across various functions, including People & Culture, Organizational Development, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, HR Services, Employee Relations, and Safety & Health.
**HR Compliance and Statutory Obligations:**
Ensure HR legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable statutory laws, maintaining records, and representing the organization at various HR-related associations. Liaise with various private authorities and statutory bodies, being well-versed in local labor issues. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements under various labor laws, including the Factory Act of 1948, and coordinate with local industrial entities. Enforce management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resources policies and procedures.
**Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH):**
Lead employee engagement and welfare initiatives, and oversee the Internal Complaints Committee in accordance with the Prevention of Sexual Harassment guidelines.
