Job description for Diversity and Inclusion The Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Head, who will be responsible for designing, managing, and driving organisation wide D&I strategies and programs. Design and promote D&I strategies Improve organisation’s efforts towards the commitment to build a diverse and inclusive workplace Be a culture partner with the internal committee on D&I and to all the departments Devise and implement D&I initiatives with a focus on achieving measurable and sustainable results Research and explore industry trends and adopt best practices to increase workforce diversity Cultivate an inclusive environment Identify and organize mediums to capture employee feedback and suggestions Review organisation wide policies, benefits, and practices to leverage the impact of diversity and foster an inclusive culture Take a holistic, data-driven approach through extensive reporting and analytics to understand issues and generate suggestions and improvements Participate in D&I conferences and work with senior leadership to be present in these forums to build brand awareness Work with talent acquisition team to create second career programs for returning women Conduct Audit & Assessments to identify the D&I journey / metrics Work with Learning & Development team to impart the necessary D&I training needs at all the levels in the organisation Evaluate platforms and spearhead communications that maximize employee engagement Abreast of D&I efforts - Communicate with management and business stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements Ensure compliance with state and/or country regulations on diversity, equality and inclusion Ideal candidates should have: A master’s degree with at least 10 – 15 years of relevant experience in Human Capital, with a focus on developing and incorporating D&I programs A deep understanding and expertise of D&I and knowledge of global trends The ability to engage, influence, and collaborate with executive leadership The capacity to multitask and manage large-scale projects Excellent oral and written communication skills Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities A collaborative approach to coordinating between multiple internal and external stakeholders Familiarity with and understanding of legal matters related to diversity, equality, and inclusion, specifically central/state government regulations, will be an added advantage.
