SFDC Data Architect:

 

Overall Job Description:

• 10+ years of total SFDC experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Salesforce.com Architecture, Design and Development.
• 2+ years of experience in ETL based technologies like Abinitio, BO, etc.
• 3+ years of experience managing an advanced salesforce.com instance preferred with exposure to multiple Salesforce instances or previous consulting experience
• Develop, maintain, and review data processes and architecture for both on-premise and cloud-based data systems
  Well versed with Salesforce Data Model and can map functional ER diagram (Entity Relationship) effectively on Salesforce Data Model.
• Demonstrate deep data integration and/or migration experience with Salesforce.com and other cloud-enabled tools
  Have exposure of On-premise / Cloud ETL tools such as Informatica, Dell Boomi, SSIS and Pentaho.
  Demonstrate expertise in complex SQL statements and RDBMS systems such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostGres.
• Experience with full-fledged data warehouse or data mart models.
• Experience with both dimensional and 3rd normal form data modeling, data integration, and reporting.
• Knowledge of data management, SQL and RDBMS technologies, SOA design principles would be preferred.
• Work closely with team members to optimize Salesforce database SOQL queries
  Review existing system landscape associated with business process flows, and design integration architecture and future state data model
• Have exposure to scope and size data workstreams on Salesforce project.
  Nice to have Salesforce DATA ARCHITECTURE AND MANAGEMENT DESIGNER certification.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and can talk to business users effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and work in team environment with varying skill set levels.
• Technology exposure: Salesforce Data Architect ,Force.com, ETL tools – Abinitio, BO, etc, Data Modelling, Data Migration, Salesforce Data Model and ER Diagrams.

 

Responsibilities

• Facilitate technical design sessions to identify client migration requirements and processes.
• Translate client requirements into Salesforce data design, leveraging best practices and minimizing the need for custom development.
• Build migration processes to achieve client business objectives.
• Implement/Execute data solutions including big data management strategies, data migrations, and data cleansing.
• Analyze and recommend data modeling, mapping, normalization strategy, and design improvements.
• Execute data migrations and data quality efforts focused on completeness, standardization, and deduplication.
• Collaborate with developers and integration specialists on custom solutions.
• Manage technical scope and client expectations.
• Act as a subject matter expert in sales cycles.

Design and execute detailed test plans to ensure the highest possible quality of deliverables.
