PFB the Detailed JD Looking for candidates with strong Network and Security management background, who can handle Network Security including Firewalls, Proxies, AV, DLP and Cloud Security. The selected candidate will lead a team of Network and Security 5s who deliver the Managed Security Services from our Cyber Security Response Centres (CSRC) and drive it to greater heights in productivity and efficiency. The CSRC delivers Managed Security Services for its global clientele through its hosted Data centre network around the world and Operations centres in Chennai and Pune. The Security Ops manager is responsible for ensuring the availability and performance of the Security infrastructure and driving enhancements in processes and technology. Major Responsibilities: Deliver 24x7 Security operations from the CSRC centres through Cyber security 5s Ensure the Managed Firewall, Proxy, IPS, EAV, DLP and cloud services are delivered at the highest quality and best timelines Ensure incidents are resolved with best resolutions in shortest duration with appropriate Preventive and corrective actions Ensure changes are done in controlled fashion and with minimal errors Work with different internal teams to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner and enhancements and cross-domain projects are driven to closure. Ensure external and internal SLA/OLA metrics are adhered; report on it and drive continuous improvement Work with customers to handle escalations and drive service improvements Work with Engineering to identify issues, propose solutions and drive them to closure Work with Product management on new products, services and technologies Be a mentor for team members to help in their 5 growth Ensure engineers are trained and motivated to deliver the required service at the highest quality Be flexible in working Skills Strong knowledge of Cyber Security concepts, different attack vectors and mitigation and detection controls Strong demonstrable expertise in Network and Cyber Security with hands on experience in two or more of the following routing, VPN, Firewalls, IPS, Proxy, Email Security, APT Experience in handling Managed Security for a MSSP is preferable Awareness of standards and frameworks like ITIL, ISO 27000, PCI-DSS, etc. People management skills Project management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Awareness of industry trends Education and experience An engineering graduate with 12+ yrs of experience in Cyber Security Knowledge of Network security tools and products like , Firewalls, Proxies, IPS, Endpoint Security, etc. Product certifications from OEs like Cisco, Juniper, etc. would be preferred.
